Hilary is currently at work on a memoir about the gray area of consent.

Hilary grew up in Washington, D.C. She received a B.A. in Economics from Harvard University and an M.F.A from Antioch University. She and her husband Bob, a screenwriter, live in the Atwater Village neighborhood of Los Angeles. Their two adult sons live nearby.
